CHARACTER DESIGN

Freelance Work

What is the Project about?

This project was part of an effort to design AR glasses aimed at helping dyslexic children understand alphabets by presenting them in ways that aligned with their unique perception. My role involved developing character designs and animations that illustrated these alphabets and shapes, which were then featured in an introductory video played when the glasses started.

Thought Process Behind

Dyslexic children often confuse similar-looking letters, frequently flipping, rotating, or altering them in their minds, which makes reading challenging. To address this, my role involved developing character designs and animations for the prototype specifically the letters A to F with varied weights and structures to reduce confusion and improve letter recognition. These characters were then featured in an introductory video played when the glasses started, providing a clear and engaging learning experience tailored to dyslexic learners.

Behind the Design

The line, curve, and circle are the starting elements of the race, sequentially forming the letters A, B, C, D, E, and F. The animation follows this order, with these three shapes racing to combine and create each letter dynamically.
